#10 Bracket in the Country!!!

I should have posted this a few months ago but I never got around to it.

In my 1st year officially in the matrix (I made only 1 final bracket last year and had 65/65 as well), I got all 65 teams in the field and compiled a score of 313 points based on a scoring system made by Paymon at PHSports. This score placed me 10th out of the 61 brackets partcipating, and the 2nd highest score of brackets getting all 65 teams. (Shout out to fellow Notre Dame Bracketologists who combined had 50% of the 65/65 brackets this year)


I really have enjoyed doing this and will make a guarantee, I WILL DO BETTER NEXT YEAR.

That means:
1) I will in a higher %tile next year (aka better than 10/61)
2) I will beat ESPN's Joe Lunardi by more than 10 points (I beat him by 6 this year)
3) I will get 64/65 at worst (I am striving for perfection but the odds of 3 perfect brackets in a row is tough)

Dayton and Maryland are my last 2 teams in, I don't get what people don't like about Arizona, yea they struggled but I wouldn't want to play them, they beat Kansas, Gonzaga, Washington, and SDSU. I can't believe this team isn't in.

My 4/5 lines just took me forever... I was looking at 6 teams for the final 4 spot... I decided to take Purdue but I'm not sold on that...

Debate for the final 2 seed was between 2 Big XII Schools OU and KU... Oklahoma's Top 50 RPI wins put them over the top

Comments:

- Lots of movement due to research and lot of big wins/losses
- Also I got a lot of comments about the KU-MSU seedings last week so I thought I'd address it. Last week Kansas had a pomeroy of 14 and Michigan State was at 22. Which corresponds to a 4 and a 6 seed respectively. They've moved this week based on RPI #'s along with other games across the country.
- Next week I'll update mid-major winners, since we will be a couple weeks in and teams will start to seperate.

- Not sold on the Minnesota resume, but they still jumped 3 lines
- Losers: Big East- losses are starting to pile up and til other conferences get going result is a temporary lowering overall
- Winners: ACC, proven this is more than a 2 team league. Wake, Duke, UNC, Miami, Clemson, BC... this shows why we need a ACC-Big East Challenge
