Quick Comments:
-ND moves up due to the win over Texas in Maui, and great effort vs UNC. Scoring 87 pts on UNC is always impressive, 3rd game in 3 days made for weak defense but, this team is elite. Louisville did nothing wrong but ND has the marquee win on the resume
-Syracuse moves up 2 lines after the impressive CBE tournament
-BC's 2 losses moves them out for now but I was impressed with how they hung in with Purdue

New Bracket Thursday/Predictions
I'm going to wait til the end of Maui to make a new bracket since some of the top teams UNC/Texas/ND will play either other but here are some predictions
Texas-ND- Abrams vs McAlarney will be a shoot-out if both are on the top of their game, but the key could be who stops Luke Harangody, and who can cover Zeller at the 3-pt arc.
Prediction: ND 82 Texas 79
UNC-Oregon- Interesting game with the sharpshooters of Oregon playing the well-balanced Heels. Tyler Hans. will be playing in only his 2nd game of the season, it will be interesting to see how well he can handle the doubles that will come from the Oregon defenders. UNC is hurt but they just have too much talent
Prediction UNC 87 Oregon 74
Kansas-Syracuse- Big test for both teams, with Syracuse actually playing outside New York in the non-conference and a Kansas squad that replaces just about everybody. Game in KC, Missouri should give the Young Jayhawks enough fan support to pull this off
Prediction Kansas 76 Syracuse 73

24 Hr. College Basketball Marathon
Started this morning at midnight with Memphis-UMass and continued at 2am with Fresno St. at Saint Mary's and Idaho and Hawaii played at 4am. The games will continue throughout the day and tonight, below are some of my predictions for a couple of the games:
St Johns @ BC- I'm very shocked that SJU was able to beat Cornell the way they did, they now take on a BC team with Rice making his debut, I really wonder if that win was a fluke by SJU or are they back? I think they lose this game, but they are for real.
Prediction: BC 82 SJU 75
Kentucky @ UNC- This looked bigger until Kentucky got beat by a good VMI team (why you would schedule a team that scores 100+ in your opening game is beyond me)
Prediction: UNC 87 Kentucky 72
